Tefa Initations

This class with discuss the initiatory process of bringing an Awo through Igbodu to uncover their good fortune and begin the task of walking in alignment with their destiny.

Ewe: The Process of Washing Sacred Icons

This class will cover the crucial step of washing sacred icons when performing initiation rituals.

About the Ifá Ritual Course

The Ifá Ritual course was deigned with practicing and new Awo in mind, as a tool to support the understanding and integration of traditional Ifá. The Ifá ritual course is a way for students of traditional Ifá to get a deeper understanding of naming ceremonies, funeral rites, birth rites, Íyàámi: the society of women, Tefa, as well as other ritual processes and protocol. This course is to help students ground and balance their spiritual gifts and spiritual education, to become more well-rounded and ethical practitoners, teachers and leaders in our the tradition of Ifá, as taught to Awo Falokun in Ode Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria. By learning and moving in the ways you are taught here, you carry on a legacy of the ancestors before yourself and decendents after you. This course is to support each person on their path to their destiny.

Awo Falokun & Iyanifa Fajalabi

Awo Falokun Fatunmbi is a Babalawo in the Ifá Orisa tradition. He is a scholar, educator, author, theologian and musician. He has over 30 years of experience within the Ifá Orisa Tradition and has written several publications and several books on Ifá. He was initiated in Ode Remo Nigeria, in Ogun State. He has initiated thousands of Ifá practioners and Orisa priests and priestesses, globally. Iyanifa Fajalabi is the elder mother of Egbe Iwa Pele. She the head Iyanifa of Íyáàmi in the Egbe. She is a priestess, seer, cosmic communicator, scientist and author. She has been practicing divination, ancestral veneration and ritual since she was a child, guided by her grandmother.
